Civil Engineering N4-N6

Engineering, the application of knowledge, typically in the form of science, mathematics, and empirical evidences to the innovation, design, construction, operation and maintenance of structures, machines and materials. Civil Engineering involves design and construction of public and private works such as infrastructure. It entails Surveying, Structural & Environmental Engineering.

Qualifying Learners are Capable Of:

-Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure.
– Use design software to plan and design transportation systems and structures in line with industry and government standards.
– Analyzing long-range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan and design projects.
– Perform or oversee surveying operations to establish building locations, site layouts, etc.
